What a lovely blue-eyed, sharp beak, dainty little fluffball. I am amazed by the very bright and striking colours of this bird's plumage. The very tiny paws are hardly noticeable. This is a very sweet and cute image, which brightened up the day. Thanks for sharing.

What an amazing capture!
Todies are fantastic birds and to be able to photograph the Cuban Tody in the wild is quite an achievement. You have captured this singing male quite sharply in a fine pose and with good use of flash to bring out the colours.

Oh my Pat what a find,this is so colourful it has got all the colours of the rianbow.This one reminds one of the coloured chicks bak here in India, after they are dipped n colour so that birds preying around wont recognise them.Thye are such cheeky colours that doesnot look natural yet gives a stunning look to this little birie.

Bonjour Pat,

Le todier sur la branche est impressionnant. Le sujet est bien cadré. Cet oiseaua de belle couleurs que la lumière fait ressortir. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'oiseau. Je quitte pour Cuba samedi pour une semaine de vacances. Bonne journée.
