|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is another picture I took this spring of whooper swans. For more information about them, look at my previous post of these magnificent birds. At this place we saw somewhere between 200 and 300 whooper swans on their way north. These two were not very happy with me as you can see. These are shy birds and I only had my 28-135mm lens so it was difficult getting good shots. This one was taken from a rolling car as we went by them.|
Enjoy these great birds!

Hi Urban, it's a great shot and even better that you took it from a moving car. Maybe we should have another catergory "Drive-by Shootings" :-).
It's a nice scene and a tough one with the backlit white birds. My only suggestion would be to rotate the picture a little anti-colckwise to bring the horizon level.
Very good capture under difficult conditions, it has captured well even the white are good so easy to loose in overexposure. TFS

Well done on this capture and composition.
Paul did well in the workshop to rotate the image.
Select the swans with the lasso tool and in the hue/sat department, select the cyan and desaturate, this will take away the cyan in the swans thus keeping the blue in the horizon.
Very nice picture, Urban.
Taken with a 28-135, amazing. For this shy birds you normally need a very long lens. Well composed, nice colours and good details. Paul is right about the horizon.
Snyggt jobbat Urban.
Nice capture Urban! Especially good when considered shot from a moving vehicle. Sometimes you just have to grab em' when ya can..TFS this great pair!
