[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This American Oystercatcher is the same one that I posted not to long ago, He's walking towards the water trying to make me go away, well he wasn't very successful doing that.

Oystercatchers are closely tied to coastal habitats. They nest on beaches on coastal islands and feed on marine invertebrates. The large, heavy beak is used to pry open bivalve molluscs. Oystercatchers raise a clutch of two or three eggs. In winter, they are found in flocks along the coast from central New Jersey to the Gulf of Mexico.

Hi Everton,

I love the pov. This shows us all of him - his wonderful profile and eye and the lovely plummage and wings. Excellent natural colors and fine details. I wouldn't mind walking toward the water right now! HOT, HOT, HOT.

Hi Everton,
Wonderful shot of this American Oystercatcher with very impressive sharpness, colours and details. Nice 'walking away' pose captured and I like its red eye and bill. Great natural lighting and setting. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.

This bird has beautiful eyes, Everton, and you have made it a point to show one of them very effectively in this image.
Apparently, the bird is shying away from you but still keeping literally an eye on you.
Excellent image with sharp focus and pleasantly rich colors.
TFS and regards.
