|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I planed a short trip near the town in a nice place called “Pietrele lui Solomon”.|
Weather was so undecided that I was not sure if it worth taking the photo camera with. As most of the times I ask myself that, I finished by taking it.
The sky was covered by gray clouds and rain could start in any moment. Not many insects were flying around. Suddenly a ray of sun light burst out through the clouds. Something like a flame past near me and stopped on a flower.
It was a male of Large skipper (Ochlades sylvanus). Taking advantage of the warm sun he was decided to feed and payed no attention to me. I had time to sit near him and to take some photos.

bellissima macro, IMHO questa farfalla non si adatta ad un POV laterale poiché rimane una parte importante OOF, straordinaria definizione nella zona a fuoco con dettagli super, splendidi i colori e BG.
Grazie e complimenti

An excellent close macro of a male Large Skipper with fine focusing and sharpness. Well composed from a great POV on the thistle flower against a neutral BG.
TFS this beauty,

Very great shot, with exellant details and sharpness.
Hi Cristian, I like a lot this little skipper with splendid details in focus zone and excellent sharpness, fantastic colors, very well done, ciao Silvio
Bonita toma, con un evidente desenfoque en el primer plano que rompe el trabajo; por el resto, una captura magnífica.
