Hi Everyone!
This is my second try of close rendezvous with Queen of Spain.

Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
Superfamily: Papilionoidea
Family: Nymphalidae
Genus: Issoria
Species: I. lathonia

The Queen of Spain Fritillary (Issoria lathonia) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is common in southern Europe, migrating as far north as south Scandinavia every summer. It is a very rare visitor to the British Isles. Heat-dependent, this species is found breeding on the hottest places of the foodplants of the larvae (prefers Viola tricolor and Viola arvensis). The adult is a strong flyer, and may be found anywhere but forests.

Your Queen of Spain looks a little cross-eyed. What an awesome capture - very good macro shot, sharp and clear details - well done Lukazs

Nice shot, the insect is disgusting but i like the quality of the sharpness and your choice to take the face of the queen. TFS
