Je suis émerveillé par la clareté de l'image et la richesse des détails. Il faut beaucoup de métier pour réussir une si belle image. En plus, les blancs devant un arrière-plan foncé n'ont certainement pas facilité la tâche. Excellent travail pour un vrai régal des yeux.

Hello Catherine,

This is an excelent close-up of this insect. You have chosen a perfect POV giving you a very good and natural perspective over insect's body. DOF is well adapted to the subject rendering in sharp details head and torax. Exposer is also very good as you have good colors on the insect as well as on the white flower.

Excellent macro of Syrphus ribesii with fine sharpness, especially the front half. Every other aspect of this image is fine, except that maybe the fly should be a little more to the right, but that is a minor point.

Hello Catherine, While observing the shot closely I really admire the focus on the eyes and also the partly visible yellow stripes on the body. Apart from that the shot is so clear and the clarity is superb. I can the hairs on the body and also the antenna in the front portion of the insect. Excellent presentation. Ganesh
