Wow Manyee,

What a nice portrait shot of this hornbill. Great pose, fine capture, very well done!

Jan-Hendrik

Well, now isn't he just wonderful! It is a super crop and presentation. Your choice of border color makes it appear that he is looking through a window and is going to peck at me! It looks almost three dimensional. Nice work.

Hi Manyee, this Hornbill looks as if it is a mask - you show it so sharply and clearly. I love its eyes.
How great to be able to see it so closely in the Bird Park like this.
And what a strange noise it makes - thank you for that link.

Hi ManYee

Ha, what a sight for sore eyes. I bet this guy thinks he's the greatest looker and a blessing to all female Papuan Hornbill's. Well, who knows? Maybe he is or maybe he isn't, but you sure did a fine job to make him look at his very best. I just love that multicoloured eye. Excellent exposure control and nice sharp details.

Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hello Manyee! Great subject again with great details, the flash is maybe a bit too harsh but it's still a great portrait of that bird! Thanks!

Great portrait picture of this bird
Great color, DOF, lighting and background

Oz

Hornbills are right up there in my favorites after toucans and this capture is really great showing off the head attributes very nicely. Well captured
Manyee.

Hello Manyee
I wonder how much gold lipstick they used to prepare this birdís beak for the photo session.
Just joking! This bird is a real show-off with its beautiful colours. That beak is truly something special and it really looks as if it was polished beforehand. The textures and linings are interesting to look at, almost as if it was hand carved. Further it has the most fascinating coloured rings around the eyes, not to mention the stylish feather-do. A real elegant bird which you have captured with preciseness bringing out all the style it has. Thanks for sharing.
Anna
