Canis vulpes or the Fox, eternal little thug of the European woodlands, friend or foe, useful or destructive, certain is the fact that this is one of the most cute and adaptable animals on the planet, the human race has a hard time accepting him one way. Some like me, think of it as a pretty little carnivourous predator, extremely intelligent, a great survivalist, good parent, very stinky, oportunistic thief, the FOX is an absolute necesity in the well being of nature, one of the best way of balancing the universe while its presence anywhere is a proof of a very healthy ecosystem as a famous Spanish proverb goes: "The fox does not do as much mischief in a year as it pays for in an hour. ", so think about that, my friends !
While foxes are present on almost every country and climate in the world, ranging from the white polar foxes of the frozen Arctic north to the bat-eared foxes of the scorching Kalahari Desert in the south, still the red fox (Canis vulpes vulpes) remains the most known, most hunted, most celebrated, most hated, most loved and most mediated of them all.
Last hour good news for foxes in Britain: large government bans are straining now on the traditional foxhunting, a national English overly ritualised craze embodying the olde snobishly noble English habit, which finely defined by Oscar Wilde as: "The unspeakable pursuing the unedible"...

Hello Radu!
How are You? I'm sorry I didn't saw a little, cute fox like this!
Great photo, I love this fluffy beauty!

Well shot, well said !!

Nice and clean shot with great sharpness Radu. The colours seem very natural and I like the pose of this little fellow. Only tiny nit is about the composition - it would be better if there was a little more space in front of the fox so he was looking into the picture instead of out of the picture. I say this well knowing that it is not allway easy. Apart from that it is a very nice capture.

Superb post Radu!
There's plenty of foxes in my forest. I know quite much places where they have their holes - it's easy to find them just using your nose ;-)
Perfect photo with perfect composition, POV, colours ...
Note is more than complete. I really enjoy reading it.
VERY WELL DONE!

"Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc" ... something like that, eh? ;) Great picture Radu. You almost clipped the tail, but it's still in so that's good. :) Very warm colors, sharp details, good POV & great DOF. Maybe some minor OE on the right side, just below the snout. But nothing serious at all. A very nice picture. TFS!

Regards,
Pieter
