[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This image was taken exactly one year ago. As my recent trip was cut short due to health issues, I raided the archives for a "timely" shot. The good news is that I may actually see this sight again in a couple of days. I'm doing well and we are going to try to complete our trip...minus any hiking or strenuous activity. Car photography is better than no photography!

Talk about the fire of fall! Fantastic, terrific, sharp, the contrast beyond words...and...stunning! Did I mention breath-taking?

Hello Evelynn

I must echo Kathy's sentiment,this is beautiful.
I think the red of the leaves has more impact with the birch tree in the background.
A wonderful composition.

Who was it that said "Deja vu all over agin"...or more likely as the bible put to song in the Bryrds..."Turn turn turn"...I love that song..and I love autumn as well....thanks for your image..and double that for your kind words...I am, as I have mentioned to others still a bit upset..I am in poverty but I have so many memories and have so much from photos....life goes on and so do I...We shall see where I am led..or where i accidentally find myself!

Your getting me all fired up for the fall leaf season Evelynn,
Love the magnificent colors and composition in this lovely shot. I'm glad your feeling better and hope you have a great remaining trip.
Rosie and I are taking two days off for viewing them next week. Thanks for getting us excited for the fall colors a little early.

Hi Evelynn!

Going out and living sceneries like this one will be the best medicine. This picture is simply fabulous. I just wonder why TN members always hesitate or apologize for digging in the archives. Aren't they made for this? I mean, the fact that a picture is one or two years old, does that change anything ti its value? As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy that you have presented it.

Take care!

Hi Evelynn,

Hello Evelynn,
So simple and so beautiful, yes timeless. The birch tree does wonders in this photo. It makes the DOF and composition of colours complete. Very beautiful.

Hello Evelynn,
Well, we enjoy it already due to your archive.
I don't need to say this is very colourful. Beautiful!
Well done

Hi Evelynn

This really does bring back a lot of nice memories from last year's fall posts :) I noticed back then that you seem to find a lot more red there than we have here...i'm a bit jealous :)
Anyway, hope to have a nice gallery of fall colors this year, too. I know Niek and Paul will be "on the hunt" so it should be fun.

This is a lovely setting, presented in a very original way.
I like the fact that you chose an unconventional composition here and i like the scene that it shows. The colors everywhere are, needless to say, amazing but i also love the texture that the leaves give both on the ground and (still) in the trees.
Overall: a beautiful effect!

Bravo, TFS and best wishes!

Hi Evelinn, fantastic autumnal colors, splendid composition, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Evelynn

You have really captured some glorious colours here. I do love this time of year, even if our autumn colours are more subdued than yours. Wonderful sharp details as well, I can almost see every leaf.
