Truly majestic pose of the Bald Eagle, Rick.
You have shot it at the precise moment of its landing, I suppose.
The picture is brilliant and the mabience in the background is apt to the capture.
TFS and regards.

Awe shucks...you're making me blush Rick.
Thanks so much for the heartfelt dedication. I also hope we can meet one day, we live so close compared to most of the TN family.
A nice action shot Rick! The Bald Eagle is such a majestic species and symbolizes freedom to me. You've captured this all so well. Keep up the wonderful work Rick. Your friend...not so far away.
A big hug for you too (and Lucy)

So we thank Janice, too! It would be a pitty if we wouldn't see such a beautiful picture! Rick, this is just fabulous, it's wildlife at the best. The picture is dynamic and powerful, highlighted by the movement of the eagle's wings and the composition with the branch and the wing pointing in the same direction. And, moreover, it's just a pleasure to look at the picture...

Dramatic shot and very British Columbian with the foggy blue mountain in the background. Lots of good bald eagle pics on Trek sites, but yours stands up well.

Wow, Rick, you are hiding treasures, I just love this picture with the wings' movement and the branches', altogether giving a fluid and moving effect. Great shot, the bird is so sharp and as the king of the king, absolutely perfect and superb. We can tell its "ferocity" in its eyes, the sharpness of the vision and the strength of the flight and thighs. Thanks a lot Rick, and hugs to Janice having encouraged you.

Why did you hold on to this for so long without posting it???? An amazing shot - I imagine the Eagle is just landing but it looks like he is doing his morning warm-ups. A perfect picture with a wonderful view of his face (with a great expression), the spread tail feathers and the wings in a marvelous position. All with fine details and beautiful colors. The setting and composition are fantastic.

A superb one from your archives!
Captured with great timing in sharpness, you caught this Bald Eagle in a great wing position and set it in an excellent composition with the cedar branches against the OOF mountain BG.
A beautiful image Rick and thanks for sharing it,

Dear friend Rick.
Your bird landing is brilliant! In most photos of this sort the bird against the sky is underexposed, or the scenery is overexposed.
Your shot is spot on!
The natural colours make it a pleasure to view your work. I have chosen it as a favorite and add it to my theme "high Altitude.
Thanks for sharing,
