Better known visitors in the home:

This Hummingbird hawk-moth (Lepidoptera; Sphingidae; Macroglossum stellaratum; Taubenschwänzchen) has been in my house by bad luck, it may have been looking for a winter shelter. It is the well known hovering flower visitor. Now I finally got a portrait of the animal in flight. In this case it flew against the window. In post processing I had to stamp off some reflections on the glass.

Hi Dietrich

Good shot of this guy in flight. A very different perspective from most of the shots of this species on TN. Good PP work.
Good composition and sharpness.

hallo Dieter,

Hi Dietrich,

A tough shot to get, I know from experience, those are a very active type of moth, very nice shot.

Hi Dietrich.
Outstanding in-flight shot. I could not take any picture of this moth. You have done this fantastically. DOF is great. Sharpness and details are superb. Composition is spot on. Bravo. I am amazed.
