New photo at least! Full of microaction, with superb composition and shinning colours. I don't know why but it has got autumn mood in my oppinion. Lovely warm light, details and POV. Note is also very interesting. I like it very much!

This shot is a winner, Sebnem, for many reasons.
The great details in the beetle, tiny isects and the leaf.

I love that picture. It amazingly beautiful in its colours, light and composition. Nothing to add about it. the species is of genus Chrysolina, but I'm not sure if it's graminis. It's not easy (if possible at all) to be sure just from the foto :-)

What a truly great macro/closeup Sebnem. The composition and especially also the position of the bug on the leaf is striking! The aphids included in the photo give good idea about the miniature world the bug is living in. Technically excellent, a great image!!

Does this beetle eat the leaf-aphids?

It's a wonderful shot to see this "community". Great colours, excellent sharpness and detail. Very nice compo too! I especially like the play of the light on this beetle! Tfs, Jay

PS I am very happy to see the wee bugs, so we have an idea of the size of the metallic bug!
I am somewhat puzzled by the "white hairs" . Do you know what they are?
