These polka dot fur butterflies amaze me and what a macro shot! It is fantastic, we see the small raisin-like eye, the beautiful fur looking like it's been painted, amazing details here. You managed to get a sharp picture even tough the dof is so shallow. Beautiful work, a pleasure for my eyes and imagination, many thanks,

Well done! :) I love how you can see all the thousands of little pigment scales on the wings. I keep forgetting how fragile that beautiful color is, being just on the very surface and all. :)

Hi Greg,
Outstanding macro image of this Monarch sucking nectar. Immaculate sharpness and clarity with lovely colours. It amazes me to see how strong that slender proboscis is. Very attractive image and the focus is spot-on. Excellent POV, DOF and composition.

Hi Greg,
I love this shot. Wow... You were really close. : )
The colors and textures are wonderful.
The sharpness is totally awesome.
And I like your close crop.
My monarch today was in the shade and I used the fill flash.
I have to figure out how to tone it down.
TFS. : )
