The Wild Flowers

This image of delicate and wild flowers is dedicated to those who lost their precious life and who fighting with life in the hospitals in yesterdays mindless and useless terrorist attack in Mumbai. Some times its very difficult to understand these fellows, whose act inadvertently changes so many people's life for ever. What are they going to achieve by these dastardly acts. Hope soon the PEACE returns in our life.

Coming to the image, these wild flowers I found in an vacant site of a layout and as it was raining continuously, I bought them indoors to make this image. I used diffused window light to get those delicate colors and structure of these lovely flowers. I will be happy if somebody can ID these flowers.

I worked really hard on exposures and post-processing to get accurate colors of these flowers, also used the light to illuminate the interior of the flowers also.

A beautifully executed capture and a fine tribute to those victims of yesterdays terrorism Nagaraj, hope the wounded ones recover soon.
The diffused daylight under open shade conditions provided excellent illumination for these delicate flowers, I readjusted the white balance in my WS to achieve a slightly different colour scheme, hope you will approve my friend.

There is something very beautiful, an evanescent quality in this picture, it's hard to put the finger on it but you have succeeded. I can feel the pain and melancholy of those touched by the events in Mumbai, I can feel the beauty and hope resting on fragile and filled with light tiny flowers. I love the softness created by the diffused light, I love the pastel purple of the flowers with dew drops and the composition is superb. A gem. Thank you Nagaraj, this is beautiful.

Hello Nagaraj,
It was worth to work hard on this picture of fine flowers. The result is of great delicateness. The decentred composition is pleasant and the background of great subtility with the special light you caught and the shaded violet color. Very artistic shot, indeed.
Thanks a lot
Anne
