Found in Brazil as a compact, medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with compressed, suborbicular-oblong pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, rigid, erect, oblong, acute leaf that blooms on a slender, erect or arching, flexuous, 5 to 8' [150 to 240 cm] long, loosely paniculate, many flowered inflorescence with linear-triangular, very acute floral bracts occuring in the summer and fall. Cited as a synonym of Oncidium divaricatum or sphegiferum but there are many discrepancies between both.

Hello Raimundo,

A very nice composition, nice and sharp, very interesting plant too.

Thanks for sharing it,

Bonjour Raimundo,

Hi Raimundo,
an excellent shot. Bright subject on the dark background. Nice semi circular composition of the orchid.
