Very nicely done, there is an incredible amount of detail in this shot! You can see all of those little pine needles perfectly! A nice clean composition as well, however it does feel like the photo might need some rotating, unless you were going for the crooked horizon to straighten out the rabbit tracks. It must have been a brave rabbit, risking his life in such an open area lol. Nicely done,

You sure have found and interesting POV of this young pine tree and you managed to incorporates the foot prints that lead us to the tree, the vertical format with footprints and tree adds much depth to the image and provides a more interesting composition. Great details and texture of the snow with some wind blown pattern as well as some speckles of glistening snow powder. the sky although overcast but at the end of the horizon giving way to some light that peaks through adding some warm color to the sky, and more clarity to the mountain and forest in the background. Thanks.

This is different and interesting. I like it. Because the little tree and the tracks are the center of interest I think I would like just a tad more space on the right.... but of course maybe that wasn't possible for some reason. The exposure and colors are really lovely.

You had as much fun on this trek as I would have liked to have....also this reminds me in a round about way of an archetype photo and deals with Native Americans..I think we are all connected... everyone...and maybe through photos we can discover something science never thought of...Your photo is a mind juggler...It gives me thoughts..and ideas...and memories of when I would have been able to do same....thanks guy!

A wonderful shot - I like the pine tree in its 'tent' and the tracks which enhance the solitude here. Great colours too.

From my point of view, this is the best of your series. I guess this is emotional, because I could not argue with technical aspects. I like the footprints very much. It's funny how they are leading to the little tree, as if this would be the rabbits home. The diagonal orientation of the footprints adds to the value of the composition. I also like how the pink coloured sky reflects on the white surface of the snow.

It is wonderful in every respect shot. And told story is fine too. I lie subject a lot as well as POV and framing. I do not know which object is the best. All they together create an amazing composition. Snow carpet is reproduced amazingly. Especially I like traces on it. Small fir tree is looked as charming Snow-Maiden. Coloration of the cloudy sky and its reproduction are refined too. Dark shapes of the mountains and trees supplements the scene perfectly. Lighting is amazing. Top quality, very nice new year morning image. My warm congratulations.

Yes it is a wonderful composition and at the same time gets my curiosity as why did the lagomorph go into the open. I like this as you can almost feel the peppered snows texture crunch before your feet. Very nice and TFS friend.

That is a fir tree almost buried under snow?
At first I thought it was like a tent or something alike...I'm not pretty used to snow.
You managed to get a very solid composition, with the incorporation of the sunrise and their typical illumination, along with the markings, that drives our look to the tree.
Excellent work and thanks for share.

Well composed, this rabbit has a stairway to heaven :)
Sorta looks like the rabbits igloo home up top..
Is this one of those rare "eskimo" rabbits from the circumpolar regions? ;-}}
Love the wakening skies color, great exposure.

A great shot depicting the track of a lonely rabbit in the pristine snow, beautifully composed to give perspective towards a fiery horizon with a single young spruce to one side.
A simple but beautiful image and thanks for sharing it my friend,
all the best,

I guess the rabbit can always hide behind the tree if it needs to.It reminds me of the old Monty Python sketch about "trying not to be seen".LOL.
The light and colours are beautiful.
You really managed to capture the atmosphere, the clouds are terrific.
Bright eyes.......the song from Art Garfunkel of the movie Watership Down is what came to mind when I saw the photo. Or in other words some very good emotions. This is a really beautiful photo that evokes emotions to me. The warm colors of the sky the rabbit prints directed to the single tree in the virgin snow all add to a beautiful story. Without the emotion its pretty easy to understand why the rabit ran to the tree, but to allow imagination is much more fun.
The exposure of the photo is spot on, the slight purple tone of the snow is prefect, because it absorbed some of the colors in the sky. The details in the FG are stunning. If I do need to find a slight nit in the photo, its the position of the tree. I think that it would have been better if you have given it a little more room, so moving it to the left. But that is nit picking.
P.S. its going straight to my fav's

It's rare to see a natural object like this that looks like a human made thing. You composed together that so well with the sunset, the footprints and the very very detailed snow! One of the most original landscapes I've seen, TFS!
