hello friends,

in his yesterday's post Bob (Bobair) wrote he has
taken almost 4000 photos of foxes, WOW !
Bob, i am in admiaration and envy you,

last spring one day i have done something
like 30 shots of Red Fox, and that day
i was the most happy man in earth !

it was a family of Red Fox that was
in the Botanical Garden of Montréal,

here is the Mommy Red Fox, i was in the border
of a frozen pond, she came and pass in front of me

this image of the Red Fox is not as beautiful
as yours Bob, but i dedicate for you « the fox man »

photo shot with my D-SLR-Like bridge style
Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd, ISO400, RAW format,
in the shutter speed you will see 1/2000 !

« what 1/2000s and there is not movement ? »

the reason is because my D-SLR-Like bridge style
Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd, does not have image stabilizer
and for compensate that my shutter speeds are faster

from the Hinterland Who's Who website :

« Red foxes have excellent eyesight, a keen sense of smell,
and acute hearing, which help them greatly when hunting.
The slight movement of an ear may be all that they need
to locate a hidden rabbit. They can smell nests of young
rabbits or eggs hidden by long grass. Sometimes they
wait patiently for the sound of a mouse moving along
its path in grass or snow and then pounce. At other times,
hearing movement underground, they dig quickly and
locate the prey by its scent. »

Hi Asbed,

I'm sure Bob will appreciate this dedicated photo. It's quite a nice shot. This fox looks a little thin and it was still pretty early in spring. I like the pose and the eye contact. NIce work.

Evelynn : )

Hi Asbed,
Very good capture of Red Fox; great pose and composition, sharp details and beautiful colours.

Hi Asbed,
thank you.I like this foxy fox and captured on the snow is such a nice touch.Right now is snowing where I live and by tomorrow it will be -23c and not all that friendly for taking photos, but me being me, I will go out and see what might be around to photo, maybe a wonderful fox like your upload for today is.I like the pose and colours this fox has and it sure seems to have been curious of you as well which is great as you can get many photos that way.It looks to me that you got to be very close to this fox and there is nothing quite like that as you most certainly know.Getting close them allows for some very finely detailed shots and this photo is sharp and has great detail. Thanks Asbed,I am in awe of this lovely fox and I'm happy you have had an opportunity to see some as well.In the last 3 years I have taken almost 6000 photos of foxes but any number of photos is a joy to get. Bob

Hi Asbed,

I have never seen a red fox :-( They look like such beautiful animals. I love this poor thin one standing in the snow. The face is lovely and I love the bushy tale. A very nice pose and a wonderful expression on his face. He seems happy to look right into the camera. You did a good job.

Hello Asbed,
Great dedication to Bob, You have exposed this quite well my friend and the focus is sharp yielding a wonderful image. Great work Asbed, thank you.

I have a certain amount of understanding of Bob now....he is rapidly becoming the eggs pert in foxes..along with Rob of Ontario...but Bob has a philosophy which intrigues me..as this images does to me as well..It has a sly look which of course makes sense eh?
Tres bien!

Hi Asbed.
You have pictured a funny specimen. I think more high-grade diet is needed for this cute creature. Wonderful eye-contact and pose of the fox at whole. I like great framing f the scene and precise exposure and reproduction light and darks spots of the image. Bravo. Well done.

Great pose and capture Asbed..

Hi Asbed,
a nice shot of the fox. Very sharo and clear with the face facing the camera. Excellent lighting msking it so detailed with brilliant snow as the background.

Hello Asbed
Thanks for sharing this fabulous image as part of a dedication. This is a super sharp image with excellent focus. The details captured on the fur and eyes are absolutely significant. The direct eye contact is great. Your camera work and technical skills applied here is great. This is a lovely animal, and I thank you kindly for this contribution.
Best regards.

Hi again MF Asbed, what a cute fox:) as if it is smiling you:)
Perfect capture. I love it.
TFS this beauty.
Have a great night MF!

Bonsoir Asbed,

Le renard est bien placé dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du renard roux. La réflexion de la lumière sur la neige rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne soirée.
