Phoenicopterus rubber
Family:Phoenicopteridae
During the winter tens of thousands of Greater Flamingos migrate to Irans wetlands and lakes to scape the lack of food in the cold north lands. their beautiful plumage and way of feeding are very famous for birdlovers. These birds usually lay two white eggs. Their nests are located above the water and are made of mud and are cone-shaped. These famous pink birds can be found in warm, watery regions on many continents.Their bent bills allow them to feed on small organisms—plankton, tiny fish, fly larvae, and the likes in muddy flats or shallow waters.Their flight is incredibly beautiful - they fly in lines while their extremely long legs and necks are held horizontally. They live in flocks and apart from flying they are able to swim as well. |

hello Ali
Quite a unique composition showing the stacking of the bird and really good capture under the diminishing light from the side, giving a little shadow on the body, with the jagged reflection on the water.
