Dang hard to imagine...I am buried...and I mean buried..I hear sirens all day and night..roofs collapsing..I don't sleep...what I would give for a chance to shoot this with camera down there..no wonder there are such things as snowbirds..

Beautiful little bird Jane,
I think I've finally figured out how you get so many great bird shots.....It's that tree of yours!!!...it seems to attract every bird in your area to it!! Maybe you could send me one of those nuts so I can get one started up here in Ohio?
Another wonderful image with excellent sharpness, detail and color!!! Oh, and by the way...could you also send a lot of that gorgeous blue sky?

Hello My Dear Jane,
He sure looks cold all fluffed up. Great capture with beautiful colors and sharp details. Thanks Jane.
PS do you know you can pet a porcupine, you can as along as you go from the head to the tail end. Go the wrong way you will not like the results.
I hope things are returning to normal. The cold has returned here so maybe your warm has returned there.
A lovely capture of this woodpecker,we do not get that one here.
Lovely colour and detail.
Again, I think the acorns make a wonderful setting.

Nice sunny look with great details, POV, DOF, and color Jane.
I have a couple of woodpecker species here..
Need to get out with the monopod and track one down..They rarely come to my feeder.
