|Iris palestina is the second iris to bloom here in winter. This species is rather rare, so I was delighted to find a location new to me on Mt. Carmel, quite close to the Haifa University, where many lovely specimens have just started blooming. The flower comes in different shades from pure white to bluish to yellowish. The flower is about 6 cm across.|
This one was taken today under cloudy skies. It should be nice to revisit the place on a sunny day.

Beautiful colours with fantastic details.
Light,focus and sharpness are splendid.
nice, but mush too dark, dash Ori
expectacular species, the first its I.planifolia??? Very good interesting info. TFS.
A beautifully formed Iris group finely captured from a good viewpoint Ishi, tried to "lift" the cloudy weather effect in my WS, hope you like it my friend...
Les sujets sont bien valorisés, dans ce cadrage serré, par un bon angle de prise de vue permettant d'apprécier la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
