El torito cabecirrojo (también denominado capitán de cabeza roja o barbudo cabecirrojo) es un ave neotropical de la familia Ramphastidae cuya área de distribución se extiende desde Costa Rica hasta Perú y Venezuela, ocupando zonas boscosas.

The Red-headed Barbet (Eubucco bourcierii) is a species of bird in the Ramphastidae family. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest. The diet of the red-headed barbet may include bananas and other various fruits.

Hello Roberto,

This is a fine portret of the bird. You have used the DOF nicely. As you have focused on bird's eye you have got a sharp image of the head. I like the way the rest of the bird gets softer and softer. Colors are beautiful with great contrast between bird's head and the rest of the photo.
