Hi Christian - wow, this is a great shot for the little time you had to prepare. I love the setting - the colors of the background/foreground, and the jay itself is most complementary! Detail is great - crop too. Nicely caught!

an almost intimate looking, very well composed snapshot of the Eurasian Jay in perfectly handled low light. In its precision of details and subtle colours the bird stands out surprisingly well from the busy, quite difficult but also very beautiful background of twigs. Beautiful presentation. Thank you!

Very good photography, Cristian.
Fantastic integration of the bird in the matching combination of foreground, perch and background. In fact the latter is more or less all the same in terms of colors and light and that's actually very good. The impact of the depth of field is definitely very important here.

Very endearing tilt to its head, Cris.
Some pictures in our experience are moments captured in their relentless flight and this one is among them.
The Jay looks beautiful on the green branch and the busy BG, blurred into bokeh, serves well to highlight the subject.

This is one I still have to capture some day, really a wonderful bird. You got a great shot here. Sharpness and details are excellent, but what I like most are the very natural colors, the splendid composition, and of couse the pose of the bird, with the head tilted. Very well done !
