The majority of our native flowering meadows have disappeared due to intensification in agricultural practice, including use of fertilisers and herbicides. Last year, I experienced the richness of a wild meadow from April to September. Since decades, this not very big meadow, owned by the municipality, was not cultivated. An old and kind horse stays there all year long.
I will present some of the species I get the chance to discover there. I found there more than 55 species of plants (list below). but I’m sure the list is not complete. And a lot of insects of course.
You can also protect the Nature in you garden if you recreate a wild place and you will have the pleasure to welcome many species of plants, insects and birds…

La majorité de nos prairies sauvages fleuries ont disparu à cause de l’intensification des pratiques agricoles, notamment l’usage d’engrais et d’herbicides. L’an dernier, j’ai expérimenté la richesse d’une prairie sauvage d’avril à septembre. Depuis des dizaines d’années, cette prairie pas très grande, propriété communale, n’est pas cultivée. Un vieux cheval paisible y reste toute l’année en pâture.
Je vais présenter quelques unes des espèces que j’ai eu la chance d’y découvrir. J’ai recensé plus de 55 espèces de plantes (liste ci-dessous), mais je suis sûre que la liste n’est pas complète. Et bien sûr une série d’insectes.
Vous aussi vous pouvez protéger la nature dans votre jardin en recréant un coin sauvage. Vous aurez ainsi le plaisir d’accueillir de nombreuses espèces de plantes, d’insectes et d’oiseaux…

How nice to see, now in the midle of the winter, the beautiful flowers of the summer. Your colage is very nice having fine images full of sun and colors. The sarp images let you think you might be able to tuch the flowers. I like thecomposition of the colage too.

This is a wonderful collage of meadow flowers!
I said last year I would photograph more flowers but never really got around to it! I love the species you've selected and the arrangement in the collage. All very sharp andthe colours are beautiful. Very well done!

Comme amatrice de fleurs des champs, c'est avec beaucoup de plaisir que je découvre cette image. Comme toi, je répertorie aussi les fleurs dans mon environnement (à la montage). Très bel assemblage, merci aussi pour la liste.
