Hi Bob. Good to see you are safe and sound. And able to get out. They say you can not keep a good man down. I do like the rose picture covered in ice. It looks like its been frozen in time. . well done TFs.

Hi Bob,
Glad to know you are well enough to get out on your scooter. Don't know how you can do that - I would be hibernating. And I wouldn't get to see something as spectacular as this frozen wild rose. I have never seen such thick ice except in ice sculptures. This is truly amazing. Hope Jane is feeling better!

Hello Bob,
Yes, the wild rose is probably one of the heartiest flowering plants we have in the Northwest. It is a shame to see all the ice suffocating everything in your area. Just be positive as this Rose is, and the sun will shine again ONE day and then winter will return with all its fury once again as it stalks the souls of those that choose to live on the Spirit's Wintering Grounds.
Excellent detail within the ice formation surrounding this Rose,
Great Work...

Hi Bob.
Been a while since I visited your gallery. I can see some fine new additions to your already excellent collection of images. Your scooter must have helped in getting this winter view with fine sharp details. I like the framing and rather graphical in presentation. Well done and TFS,

Nice to see you back in action again Bob!
A great macro showing the effects of sun and freezing temps. on the snow that covered this rose-hip, or what's left of it. The lighting, composition and technical aspects are great, though it might have been even better without the slightly OOF ice-free rose-hip in front of it. I am mystified how that one has no ice on it at all: did you clean it up?

Hello Bob
Great detail in the ice on this rose.
The encased deadhead takes on a different kind of beauty than that of it's former self.
Lovely light and detail.

Hi Bob
It is good to hear that you are safe. I was sorry to hear that you were not well.
This is just beautiful, it looks like the plant is encased in glass. You caught the crystaline texture of the ice well
TFS
