Ola Nilson,
This is real good closeup of the lovely bird!
very sharp with nice colour and superb details
many thanks for the sharing

Ciao Nilson,
belli e naturali i colori.

Well, too bad you did not get a shot of the parents. Obviously juvenile. Obviously, a Woodpecker. The strength of the bill among other things would have me opt for a genus Colaptes. Two possible range in zone, C. campestris, and C. melanochloros. Everything considered, I might be more propense to believing this is a juvenile melanochloros.

Hello Nilson,
Beautiful photo of this juvenile woodpecker. I also prefer the Green-barred Woodpecker, colaptes melanochloros.
Good sharpness and good clear colours in a very nice composition.

Hi Nilson.
Simply amazing scene and nice its reproduction. I welcome wide DOF and excellent details and sharpness of a very cute bird and so impressive stump and small twig. Framing of the shot also is fine. Perfect job and kind wishes.

hello Nilson
beautiful colours and good sharpness
greeting lou

Olá Nilson,
Unfortunately I can't help with ID specification, You know I'm better in mycology than in ornithology. :) But a very nice photo of this tropical bird, which reminds me to our (European) Sturnus vulgaris. Great use of lights, nice pose, well controlled exposure, wonderful blurry background. Congratulations for this wonderful capture.
Best wishes, László from Hungary

Bonito documento Nilson.

Hi Hilson,
This strange Woodpecker looks to me like a youngster. I have never this seen this bird before. You managed well with composition, exposure and details. It looks so fragile and wet! Well seen,

Bela foto!!!
