Many Thanks to Ivan for helping me to identify this butterfly.

Tagiades jepetus, commonly known as the Common/Ceylon Snow Flat, is a skipper butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae.

Hello Atanu,
A fine capture of this skipper (not a Common Castor). This looks like Tagiades japetus, known as the Snow Flat. Flats are species of skipper that hold their wings flat when resting. Most of them in Asia belong to the genus Tagiades.
Nice sharp capture taken from an ideal POV and showing well against the leaf BG.
Well done and TFS!
Best regards,

Ivan's identification of this species of Skippers is a revelation for me too, Atanu.
I think this is the very first picture of this Skipper on TN. At least I have seen it for the first time.
This is a very fine capture with sharp focus and natural colours.
Well done and TFS.
