Hello Anel
Once again a stunner from your hand and camera. The technical aspects applied here is great. All the butterflies in your images always seem to be posing just for you and you are very fortunate to have such opportunities to capture them in this delightful almost behavioural way. It is always pleasant to look at your postings and this Anthocharis cardamines is no exception. Like always your presentation is done with pride and preciseness and I thank your for that. Focus, sharpness, composition and overall display is great, and of course the lavender flowers the butterfly is resting on is in my opinion the cherry on the cake to round of this great image.

It is not easy to get an Orange Tip with its wings fully open, Anne.
You were lucky to capture this male last summer with its beautiful wings spread out.
It is my observation that the perches your butterflies choose for you are always classic :).
So it is not just the butterfly but also those purple blooms that make this composition such a beauty.

I agree with Ram....you were lucky to capture this butterfly wings to open, last year I have to chase different fields and meadows, but they are too hectic and are always in flight....

A delightful reminder of the late spring in this fine capture of an Orange Tip male that has settled on the flowers of honesty, one of its larval host plants. Taken with excellent sharpness and well composed to include the flowers.

HI Anne. I to have had a llok at some butterflies in my archives so i shal post one sone. This is a good close up of the Orange tip . Which you have taken with fine detail in the ope wings and natural colours. Your top POV lets us see all of the markings well done tFS.

Sooooo schön, Anne, ich hatte noch nie die Gelegenheit, den Aurorafalter zu fotografieren, sie waren immer schneller als ich. Es ist bezaubernd sie durch die Gegend flattern zu sehen, das Orange ist wunderbar.

Once more picture of a wonderful scene at whole, fine flowers and astounding butterfly. Its wingspread is amazing and allows to see wonderful colouration of the wings. ein Frühlingsvorbote auf TN! Mit ihm geht es mir wie dir mit dem Apoll'. Ich bekomme ihn nicht gut vor die Linse.
Im letzten Frühjahr hatte ich mich sehr bemüht ... 0! Dir wünsch ich für dieses Jahr (mindestens) einen Apollo
und ich werde mich weiterbemühen auch solch ein schönes Aurora-Bild hinzubekommen.

Hallo Anne, nochmals,

den habe ich natürlich im letzten Frühling auch gejagt, ich wollte ihn auf Cardamine sitzend schiessen. Aber mein Bild reicht qualitativ nicht an Deines ran. Trickreich ist die Abbildung des feinen grauen Musters auf weissem Hinterflügel. Das kannst Du eben, ich werde aber im nächsten Frühling wieder üben!

Offenbar brauchst Du auch nicht in Eile zu sein, Dein Archiv zaubert noch herrliche Aufnahmen wie diese hervor. Die Farbenpracht ist wunderbar, das Bild auch von der technischen Seite her perfekt.

Taken in spring and seen as same...I didn't even look at the date but the image almost smelled by appearance like Easter....It would make q nice spring greeting card or even a religious card..should one be thinking that way...

duftiges, exquisit komponiertes, sehr präzises Foto des Aurorafalters auf zarter Lunaria, wohl auch der Futterpflanze seiner Raupe. Sehnsucht nach Frühling, zu Bild gebracht.

P.S.: Auch bei uns gab es lange düstere Winterwochen, ein Drittel der Menschen krank mit Husten oder Grippe, ein weiteres Drittel seelisch darnieder, und der Rest nicht ganz bei Sinnen. War lange Tage durch endlose Arbeit verhindert, meine Freunde auf TN zu besuchen. Eine Freude, es nun ein wenig nachzuholen.
Heute erste Vorfrühlingsstimmung mit einem Blick Sonne in Wien. Fahre ab morgen mit meiner Frau für 10 Tage in die Berge (Ramsau am Dachstein) zum Langlaufen - Erholung und Abstand vom Tagwerk.

Hello Anne,
This butterfly is a beautiful specimen with their orange wingtips. I have noticed also that the flowers in this scene are alike those that we have here in the Cascades and the Columbia River Gorge in certain locations. This ia a beautiful image with the complimentary colors immersed in the scene you offer to us.
Well seen, and I hope yodur health improves. The stomach flu here has hit many, and I as well for the very first time since I was about 12 years old.
