Thank you so much for your kind dedication! As this little Sparrow is no more that common here it is delightful to see it! I like your POV and the fine sharp details of the plumage. Beautiful colours too and well framed. The most common Sparrow here is the Tree Sparrow that is very similar but has a chestbut crown and black patches on its cheeks.
TFS and all the best wishes, Ulla

Anil,Lovely dedication and a good picture. I like your presentation and notes. You are correct and they are not to be seen now a days. I like the feather plummage in the air. Ganesh

Very beautiful portrait of this house sparrow, once common all over and now they are driven from many places. One day good image like this may be referred to coming generations. tfs.

The right way to shoot a bird in this position.
The time is right for you ..

This is rather belated, but it still is a lovely dedication to our friends Ivan & Ulla. I like
the fluffy feathers on the sides and the posterior view and the backwards stare the bird
gave you over its shoulder. You have captured lovely sharp details and the colours are
well saturated. As I've just said to Smitha so I say to you too. It's about time that we see
another posting from you again. I know I am perhaps the last person who can say this to
you as I too have not been much active during this past, but we need to generate some
new impetus and rekindle the old fire.
Well done MF and TFS.

Ulla spotted this one before I did and I don't know why I missed it for over a year!
I thank you for this fine tribute, a well taken shot of a male House Sparrow. The technical standard, POV and composition are excellent and he looks quite beautiful against the blurred green BG.
Thanks and my best regards to you and Smitha.
