[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In October 2007 I made several images of impalas in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Kruger National Park is situated in the eastern part of southern Africa.
Consider the Black-faced impala as a subspecie you only spot in the western part of southern Africa as for example in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
It's very similar in appearance to its eastern counterpart. The main difference, as its name already indicates, is the partially black face.
This photograph was captured at 15:00 in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
It's easily to compare both species in my Impala theme.
Thanks for looking. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Annick. This is a very elegant looking Impala . Which you have taken head on. You have fine detail and very natural looking colours in the animal and the green of the bush and grass. with a nice POV/DOF. well done TFS.
Nick..

Have a nice weekend

Hi Annick,

Well seen image to show the difference in the face. I do not know if this is an adult but the horns look different from the ordinary Impala if it is.

hallo Annick,

Groet,
Peter
