|Scimitar Horned Oryx almost disappeared from the Sahara due to the bad conditions in the region (wars, armed conflicts)|
After 270 days of pregnancy, the Oryx give birth to one (and only one) Oryx.
Once 'adult', it will weight about 200 Kg and measure 1,2 m (shoulders height).

I like your oryx and agree they are in great danger in the wild does not help when people hunt them from large 4 wheel drives with machine guns for sport :0(((( .
The image seems a little soft and we can see a little bit to much of the constraining fence, we try where possible to hide such thinks if possible either by shooting angle (the best way) or by a little post work in your fav. editing suite.
Hope you dont mind but I did a bit of PS8 (CS) on it with this in mind.
Frederic, I think Robert has already jumped the gun and gave you good pointers. I like his WS. Strange to nitice the one with broken horns. I got one the other day in SA as well.
These antelope are seriously endangered. There are less than 500 surviving in the wild.
