Here is yet another beauty from my bathroom. Here also I don't know the ID ;>. And I know Peter Roos (batu) can also ID this fella. And I am dedicating this post to Peter Roos (batu) for his help and also the beautiful series he is carrying out "Nature in our Hands".

Hi Haraprasan,

A wonderful macro of this unusual looking moth on a different background than the rest of the series. This looks very delicate with lacy wings. The colors are beautiful and the details are excellent.

Hello Haraprasan
this moth is really fantastic, his white and shiny wings looks like a wedding dress
great contrast against the brown BG
Have a good WE

Hello Haraprasan,

HP Your bathroom seem to have a lot of nature inside. Superb one. I like the moustache antenna. Good one. Ganesh

Hi Haraprasan,

anothe great presentation of an moth with good details and pov.
Beautiful colours.

Gorgeous color - like silver. Fantastic details.
I'm laughing about you hanging out in the bathroom with a camera. ha ha

Hello Haraprasan
Wonderful capture with a very good POV and composition.
Best Regards. Ferran

In the way you have imaged this it is almost as if it is a pendant...silver coated. This makes for a crossover piece of almost art from HP!

Namastay Hara,
Another beautiful shiny one.
I liked the darker one yesterday too.
Good sharpness & colour.

Hello Haraprasan,
cheerfully bright, eye catching document celebrating another beauty's visit to your bathroom in beautiful Orissa. I love those mother of pearl iridescent shades of white in that lovely Geometrid's scales and hairs, and their powerful contrast against the warm hues of the wooden surface. Your "Moths of Bathroom" is a very attractive series in its matter-of-fact approach on those borderline regions where nature ignores, invades - and ornates - human territories.
Also a very nice dedication to our friend Peter Roos (batu) who may have quite a prodigious job to do when trying to find out the proper ID here - with several thousands of species of moths reported from India.
With thanks, and best regards,

Hi Haraprasan.
It is simply stunning shot and your model is amazing. I have not seen such beauty at all. You have represented it brilliantly with terrific details, taste and skill. My heartfelt congratulations. It is true masterpiece. Bravo.

Noctuidae, Lymantriinae, Arctornithini - Arctornis sp.

No way of determining the species from a photo - there are lots of externally identical species in the genus.
Clarity is great, but the white balance is too blue. These species usually appear bright white with a hint of green.

cheers, Roger.
