[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is photograph of fresh cashews. Taken in the cite of Coron, Palawan, Philippines where this is a local specialty. Each nut must be picked and cooked. The fruit can also be eaten but is usually very tart and is eaten with salt.

Cashews. Just love them. The caviar of all nuts, in my opinion.

Hi Cedric,

Hello Cedric
Welcome to TN
This is a very well taken and very interesting capture. I had never thought how a Cashew grew as I was tucking into a bag of them! but now I know.
Thanks for Sharing

Welcome to TN. Cedric,
Very interesting image, I had no idea of how a cashew nut was formed. I just figured they grew like pecans or even acorns.
Nicely composed image with good detail and natural colors. I like how you captured the water droplets.
Thanks for the info, I learned something new today!! I was in the Philippines on a mission trip a few years ago but never seen any of these. Well done!!
Ron
