After all the fuzz these past week or so about copyright and license right, i, too, hope TN will get back on track and things will be back to normal.

That being said, i hope to turn some for your heads back toward the TN meeting - a thread that was pretty much forgot on the Forum. PLEASE...let's finally take some decision!

This is a shot i took a few weeks back, after driving a bit with a friend towards some mountains not far away from my hometown. As the sun was setting, the moon was rising over these mountains and i quite liked the given effect.
If you are curious for more winter scenes i've taken recently, you can check out my website - in the "New" section.

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

Hi Horia,
Beautiful landscape with fullmoon.Exposure, lighting and visual impact are perfect.
Thanks for posting.

A good capture of a fine effect indeed Horia, as if the moon is causing that rosy glow on the Alps, actually the doing of the invisible setting sun. Very good vertical composition my friend.

Hi Horia,
this shot is wonderful and has such a silent and contemplative atmosphere.
The mountains are realy glowing, that's beautiful, thanks

Hello Horia,
Wonderful clear photo taken in a very good exposure. The colours are splendid. You created an atmosphere of tranquillity. Very good after this heated weeks.

Dear Horia,
monumental in its subtlety and calm realism, simple, well balanced, straightforward and clear, this is a message - both powerful and poestic - about where to come back to our inner balance, and find peace, "not far from (our) hometowns".
With thanks, and my best wishes to you,

hello Horia!
beautiful vertical capture.....
well composed, with the last rays of sunshine lighting up the peaks with the moon ready to shine in the early shadows of evening

best sERGIO

Beautiful shot my friend, you have caught the moon very well here, not easy to do! Very well framed and a nice gradient between light and dark blue in the night sky. A wonderful mood you created here.
Do you find you get an barrel distortion at 17mm from the Sigma?
Fine work as ever.

Hi Horia!

Wow, I like your picture very much! The vertical composition with the large space allocated to the sky, the different layers at the bottom made first of a thin line of trees and then the mountains, is superb. The moon adds to the value of the picture and we ll hope it will show us the way back to the positive community we use to be...

Kind regards

Ciao Horia, fascinating mountain landscape with wonderful moon, great composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Horia
beautiful landscape, great composotion with mountains and moon
i like the colors of the sky : from light to dark
very well done

Out in teh West in Colorado there is a word called "Aspen glow" and it is used in many ads...I think there is something magical about the certain combination of words..Very nice...

Buna Horia
Numai bine, Oana

Hi Horia,
A beautiful scenery. Excellent composition and lovely colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Horia !
I'm happy to see that you are still posting on TN !
THis winter landscape is so beautiful ! I love the mountains at the bottom, the looks small under this huge end endless sky, and then this beautiful, almost perfectly round moon. I also like the soft colors and the warm ligh falling on the top of the mountains. Very well done !

Hi Horia.
I like pictured scene a lot. Especially I like excellent framing and your decision to place the Moon into the frame. Light and colour palette is amazing. Passage from dark bottom part of the image trough well illuminated peak of the to dark-blue sky is wonderful. My warm greeting and TFS.

I really like this photo, it is unique and very well captured. You've managed the composition very nicely, I think I will have to make this photo one of my favouites!

Salut Horia!
Un peisaj foarte frumos.
Am expus si eu citeva, dar ... nu chiar asa de profi.
Un weekend placut,

hi Horia

I find this very lovely landscape shot! Clarity of the sky and really moody atmosphere in the air. Very good vertical shot of the big space of sky and the landscape below - forcing me to scroll the mouse down :)) because of that moon!

? I seem to recall Horia on TE or TL? Same person?

Excellent work.

tfs, bill
