[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Plant frowing from a small corm with a brown tunic,with 2 narrow basal lvs. little over 1 mm wide but 16 cm long incl. underground part, a stem entirely underground during flowering, bearing 2-4 more lvs., and 1-6 fls. in succession on stalcks 2-5 cm long, with a green bract sligghtly below each flower and a smaller membranous bracteole still closer ; fls. with 6 rich violet pointed segments, the outer 3 usu. green externaly. Capsule(s) held up on elongated stems, each enclosed in a persistent bract and bracteole. Fl. Jan-Mar. Common in hillside and coastal garigue and turf along the northern strip from Cape Koruçam to Karpas. Also Aegean I., Turkey and Palestine.
The bulbs are sometimes eaten by village children.

Hello Ozlem,

I like the composition,
I like the plant (never heared of)
I like the colors

But I donot like the unsharpness of the main subject: the flower
And a little bit more contrast might work out fine (I think)

So I think it can be a very usefull picture: you can learn from it...
