[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These duck are fairly common, except in upland areas, found on most lakes. A medium-sized, rounded and active duck. The males have the unique tassel on the back of the head. 41-45 cm 350 - 950 g. They nest close to water often in long grass, 6 greenish eggs. hatch in 23 -26 days and the ducklings can fly after 6 weeks.
Taken at a local lake in a leisure centre.
Levels adjusted slightly, cropped and sharpened a tad.
