[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today something from the "Green Island", a photo taken in Old Head of Kinsale, SW Ireland.

And here we have a typical example of geomorphological structure named cliffs. Cliff is a significant vertical, or near vertical, rock exposure. They are formed as erosion landforms due to the processes of erosion and weathering that produce them.
Cliffs are common along sea coasts, but they can be found also in mountain areas and along rivers.

And here are some "champions" among cliffs :>

The highest in Asia and on the Earth - Nanga Parbat, Pakistan - ca. 4600m

The highest in Europe - Troll Wall, Norway - 1100m

The highest in North Amecica - Mount Thor, Canada - 1370m

The highest in South America - Autana Tepui, Venezuela - ca. 1300m

The highest in Africa - Kogelberg, South Africa - 1289m

The highest in Australia and Oceania - Kalaupapa, Hawaii - 1010m

Picture was taken in early afternoon hours, when relatively strong sun was present, but I really hope that you'll like it, especially because of very unique shape of cliffs :>

Thank you in advance for your time and visit!!! :>

Hi Radomir,
Very beautiful landscape.Exposure is spot on,details are crisp clear.Excellent work!
Thanks for posting.

Hi Radomir
after Greece, another great landscape shot from Ireland. very beautiful places and its great shot. Nicely composed and presented with interesting records. This cliff also high but it must be small one with respect to others you gave.
thanks for sharing, good night my friend

Hi Radomir,
A great POV showing these spectacular coastal cliffs.
Good DOF and exposure, but theres a sligh tilt to the horizon and seems to be a few darker pixels faintly showing in the sky.
Gert Elstrom thinks it might be something called diffraction that causes this.
I've seen it in a few of my own shots, usually in the blue sky.
A lovely landscape though.

Hello Radomir,
A fine coastal cliff scene from SW Ireland, a reminder of when I was there years ago. The composition and lighting are superb. Interesting note and statistics about cliffs!

Bardzo ładny widoczek. Dobrze skadrowany jest czym oczy nacieszyć. Pewnie w naturze wygląda jeszcze lepiej.

Hi MF Radek, what a wonderful place and its landscape shot. Always i am missing to see such places. Because we have got such places in my homeland.
TFS this fine shot and cheers,
