What stroke of good luck to have you as my neighbour on the gallery today, Omer!!
It is the theme of this picture that really puts it into a class unto itself -- the 'conversation' between the two subjects before the inevitable happens. It is a timely action shot that one can get only in a lifetime.
The image is technically not bad at all; the Pipit seems to be excited -- going by the expression on its face. The fish looks surprised -- maybe a little too late to reverse its action of popping out at the wrong time, ha, ha,ha!

Nice capture of the bird busy eating the fish. Good sharpness, details and light. a lower POV would have given a better picture. But capturing this rare moment is big in itself. :)

Both pictured moment and picture are wonderful. How could you see this scene? It is fantastic. Great timing, superb DOF: main characters are crisp sharp and FG and BG are nicely blurred. Colours are great too, rich and fine. Bravo. Perfect "report" shot.

I missed this one when I was on vacation! Fantastic timing to get this once in a lifetime shot. The expression on the Pipit's face is priceless. The bird and the fish are wonderful with natural colors and excellent details. Have to feel sorry for the poor little fish who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A great picture in a wonderful setting.

Very interesting image of You again. As far as I knew, Water Pipit doesn't eat fish, only insects. About quality: I don't say it isn't top quality, I rather say You were a bit lazy to do necessary post-procession. There's a lot of oof grass-blades in the foreground - they should be cropped. Background noise must be removed. Color tones are too warm - but this is a question of personal taste, so I don't critique it. Overall conclusion: a halfly done excellent bird shot.
I give the dark green smiley (and the 100th points to the image) now, because the pic - as mentioned - is very interesting, and an example of quick reaction, but please don't be lazy next time. :)

Priceless is the first word that came to mind looking at this image filled with character and persona. The expression on the face of this wide opened mouth of the Water Pipit, is marvelous. This image captured from your car window is just once again proof that we do not always have to be up and geared with all the photographic equipment to take an spontaneous image like this one. This was an opportunity you have taken at the time it arouse and although you mention it is not a top quality shot, the whole natural scenery makes up for that is missing to be a top quality shot. Like always it was a pleasure to look and appreciate your wonderful photography. Thanks for sharing.
