Great picture of this bird we do not often see on TN ! I really like his pose, here, he looks curious and attentive. There are excellent details on the plumage and the face, nice natural colors, excellent composition and POV ; some noise in the BG, but not so disturbing, as the rest of the picture is wonderful. Very well done !

Ciao Maurizio,ma come mi piace lo sfondo!! Ancor piu' del piro piro.Questa tecnica di fotografare i soggetti con il riflesso del sole nell'acqua mi fa impazzire,l'ho usata qualche volta per immortalare i bucaneve e mi ha sempre dato ottimi risultati.Ovviamente non riusciro' mai a fare un uccello...quindi meglio che me ne stia zitto e ti lasci i miei piu' grossi complimenti..ehehe..buona giornata,Luciano

you must have been very close to this bird, the DOF is a bit shallow, the feet is not in focus but the rest of the bird is
in great focus with fine details.
pretty well composed with good POV and fine natural colours.

Hello again Maury,
The wonders sunlight does to living things on earth, sometimes making them look like unreal objects. This bird is captured in a splendid lighting sequence which is making the brd look more of a dream.

The closenss you have been able to manage to the bird is most amazing.I love the way the sunlight falling in a diagonal fashion is highlighting the profile of the bird with rich details. The head, the beak and the neck looks glorious in this light.The Bg with the blue waters and the rocks can be well made out and compliments the bird i this PoV very well.It is also quite interesting to see the bird with its one feet raised perhaps contemplating its next movement.
