[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Gobiodon Citrinus or Lemon Coral Goby as we normally call them :-)It grows up to 6,5 cm and livs only in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea where you'll find it between 5-25 meters depth.

Lemon Coral Goby is a yellow little fish with thin blue lines. It has a shorter and thicker body then the other fishes in the goby family. It’s also the only one with bright coloured body. They exclusively live in heads of branching Acropa corals which they are also alone with among the goby's.

This picture is taken on 10 meters depth with my D70, 60mm and a external Sea&Sea YS-120 flash. It's my first photo of this fish since I had to get so close before to be able to get a good shot before so I'll always scared them away. It's with the camera in Manualy mode and the flash on 1/2 power. Quality was Fine JPEG and medium size (2240 x 1488). The picture is croped and resized in PS otherwise it's untouched.

Very good picture indeed and great sharpness, was this a night dive ? Lovely subject and great for a post card. Well done and thanks for sharing.

I love this shot Peter, I keep going back to it to have another look. Excellent composition and the black background really gives it a kick. Brilliant.

You are right Peter, this does not nedd postprocesing at all. The water seems to keep the lights just in the right direction :) Always interestin the underwater pics, Thanks

Very cute little goby they seem to specialise in taking little nicthes like this.
It is spot on and as you say no need to procces, evn the white coral is spot on.

Peter, great shot,informative note. Love the yellow of the Goby set against the black & the intricate designs contained within the white coral of your foreground. Years ago I used to scuba dive..Miss it.
