This is one of the family of four raccoons that I talked about in yesterdays post. Taken at the refuge.
Thanks for looking.

Hello Tom,
I like the fact that you got the water drops falling into the water from on the little rascal. An excellent catch with this one also...

We have several living in a squirrels nest off the back deck that I see on occassion. Yesterday one was laying its head over the nest and peering down at me from about 30 feet up. Cute little guy or gal...

Wow , i see drops of water , even though the picture is bit underexposed, its a pleasant picture to watch. Tons of details and its nice to see an animal in its natural habitat

Hello Tom,
Very good and beautiful photo of this Raccoon. Excellent sharp details and nice natural colours. Good POV and natural environment.

This one is dead on centered and well so...with its eyes...it really draws me into the image...and it also gives the racoon's a bit of a personality which in this case makes it look angry...

Hello Tom
excellent moment,glance and
very good photo
best regards

A wonderful capture Tom!!
Great pose with excellent detail and shown in it's natural habitat! The water droplets are an added bonus!! Well done!!!

Hi Tom,
this is a very good looking photo you have graced TN with and I rather like it.There is a wealth of detail in the shot and it does look to be a bit under exposed so I tried a tool in the Paint.Net program called shadow/highlight recovery tool and went with just the default values. The tool is a dll file that is used as an addon to the main program.Although the animal is more or less dead center in the frame, the crop and point of view both very well as presented and the colours, focus are also right-on the money.A fine and not the run of the mill photo to have shared-thanks Tom. Bob
