lovely capture of the butterfly. Jusni will definitely like it very much.
Sharp and the colours are well seen. The big eye is also very exciting to look at.
Excellent presentation of this naturally perched creature.

A beautiful butterfly for Jusni! I like the WS picture too, nice to see our photographers at work!
Now I just would like to know what kind of butterfly it is! But I'm sure somebody will help. It is anyway a striking beauty.

very beautiful capture of this superb butterfly, he have so great colorsthis shot is well composed with a very good POV
have a good WE
Thanks for your kind critique on my macro of a dragonfly's eyes.
I used my Sigma 105mm macro lens for taking that picture. Incidently, I had also used fill flash for that shot. I missed out giving these details while uploading that picture. Sorry!
Your picture of this very ornate butterfly is very good. The eye-spots on its lower wings facing the camera are beautiful. All the details and colours on the subject are excellent.
I wish you had given us some idea about the ID of this species.
I am pleased to know that you had a great get-together with Jusni. I also met two TN friends personally in NEW Delhi and it was like the re-union of long-lost friends, though we had never met each other before.
Thanks and take care.

Beautiful capture of this butterfly.I liked POV,harmonious colors, details and composition are wonderful.
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for posting.
This is really good. I remembered you were shooting from far behind with your tele and the effect is excellent. The shallow focus with the sand underneath this beautiful specie is perfectly captured. This is as good as a macro shot and the compound eyes are brilliant with fine markings on the wings.
As for my Tokina, I think the lens is a bit faulty which I thought my D80 metering went haywire. Will be seeing more posts from you in TN... you are such a versatile photographer.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

I like your picture very much, particularly because of the special light conditions. They create a fine effect and the colours are natural. The background, although a little bit vivid, suits the main subject very well.

Nice capture, Bill. Good sharpness on the 'fly and just the right DoF to isolate it from the same-colored background. I like the limited color palatte.

Hi Bill, It is a pleasure to see your collection. This photo in particular, clearly reflects the details of the insect. The texture and colors of this butterfly's wings are almost artistic. Very well captured, well you have taken advantage of the current conditions. Greetings from Venezuela.
