This is just the picture I was waiting for! A fine dorsal POV with only the rear part of the Dock bug slightly OOF
Nicely composed on the leaf in excellent lighting.
Thanks and best regards,

No, I don't say it's far from perfect. Focus is good, the head of the insect's sharp enough - also the leave with plenty of details. Yes, You should remove the background noise - there are several cracks or/and keygens popping out on the net to the proggies You named.
By my opinion the photo doesn't suffer from any other mistake - if You do the noise reduction this will be an excellent pic. Congrats - this time in advance.
Friendly regards from Hungary, László

Bonito conjunto Jacqueline. Un insecto que tiene interes para el fotógrafo por la dificultad para su captura según la luz ambiente. Casi lo conseguiste.
Saludos : Josep Ignasi.

By showing us the dorsal view of this bug, you have given us a clearer perspective on the subject, Jacqueline.
The macro is quite sharp and clear and you need not be modest about its technical aspect.
As a matter of fact, I like the shiny green leaf forming a well suited BG for the subject.
TFS and regards.

I think your picture is excellent. Patches if light on the leaf are looked so naturally. If you delete them the leaf will be less attractive. POV, composition are superb as well as the sharpness and details of the insect and leaf. They are simply amazing. I also like wonderful rich colours of the shot. Even dark BG is very suitable for pictured scene. Well done and best regards.

Pretty bed-bug. To be visible drawing of shield and different details well. This one of my favourite insects. She at You sat down on contrasting leaf. In majority of cases the insects have to their habitats the similar colour.

Without a doubt YOU ARE A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER.
Loved your concise notes. Love the HONESTY of it all. No bull.
Jacquline... you don't need Photoshop to "dress-up" your work. I have sooooo many tools; I hardly ever use them. I give it to TN in "as is" condition... MOST OF THE TIMES.
Fond regards to you from Canada from,

Great close up of this strange looking bug, in South Africa we have a similarly looking one which has the common name of a "stink bug", so I was just wondering if this is also a stinky fellow. The rough texture has been brought out well with the use of available light and correct exposure.Nicely contrasting against the green leaf.Sorry my smiles are done.
