[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Springtime is back for good. No more freezing early morning or unexpected short snowstorms. and everything that's comming back to life from hibernation is very busy.
This is not a rare species, nor a very showy one. Is quite common: Araneus diadematus. The interesting thing about it is to watch him building its net. Usually it happens on the dark, at night, but as I said, everyone in the forest is in a rush to get on business, so I got a chance to see this spider at work. And it does it really fast and precise; I'll skip the technical description about the geometry and other mathematical calculation of angles and lines - I'm not an engineer. However after about 45 min he was more than half done with the net.
I seized a short moment when the spider took a break (probably it sensed me and stopped still for half a minute) and took this photo along other three or four shots.

Hello Petru,

This is a fine close-up shot with good sharpness and details.
The web and spider are well seen against the green BG.
I like the composition with the small diagonal web.

Hi Petru,
A very good macro capture of this Orbweb spider building its nest.
As you say, they usually do this at night then eat the web by day,so you were lucky to see this.

Nice focus and fine details, Petru.
Congratulations and TFS.
