The Shouldered Kite
Welcome to TN. A fantastic photo of this Black-shouldered Kite to start with. The colours are very bright, the sharpness very good, nice pose and a good OOF BG. Excellent POV and composition.
How can you come so close? I miss the technical details and a note.

This is the best photo I ever seen with this species. All I can say is PERFECT.
hello and welcome to TN Kiran
excellent start with a completely technically photo,
(it is good for the site, the technical information and the information of the subject,if it is a shot from zoo simply it does not interest us in this site),

What a wonderful shot. You have managed to capture this beautiful Kite in a lovely pose, displaying all the details so well. The splendour of the plumage, and the fierce look in the eye is displayed with great clarity. A beautiful perspective, with sharp details and focus. Really an amazing photograph of this bird of prey. Thanks for sharing this majestic bird with us.

Beautiful bird and a positively stunning red eye- a great pair for my recently posted blue eyed cormorant. I wonder if there is some selective advantage to such colors. As long as the iris is opaque and can regulate the amount of incoming light, what difference does the outside color make to the birds?
