Yesterday was a very interesting day, weather-wise. All day there were alternating periods of sun and rain. After dinner I decided to go outside and shoot some photos because the sky to the east was ominously dark and the sun had just come out in force as it was setting in the west. While I was out I noticed a gorgeous rainbow.

As soon as I saw it I started running around looking for the best place to shoot. I didn't want to delay too long because I know how transient rainbows are. So I ran up the driveway (we live on a just-barely-large-enough-to-be-designated-a mountain) and up the street until I had a clear shot.

Hy Michael
Nice to see an almost entire rainbow in a picture. Because of his size, it is almost imposible to capture one without a wide lens. And clearely you can see the second rainbow in the upper left corner. And the last think is that also in the left all the colors are visible and very intense!
Realy congratulation for this capture!

Hi Mike,

The view is Glorious. It feels so soothing seeing the colourful bands across the blue sky and the tree tops are just awesome adding to the pleasant-factor of the shot. This picture is enough to say how beautiful is our planet.
