A fine place to spend ones retirement Ram, the air must be very clear and fresh there. Your excellent panorama demonstrates the might of mother nature and compares it effectively with the exertions of man. A beautiful naturescape indeed my friend!

Magnificent to have a look at the large Version, makes this landscape so real and so close.
I think I recognize this view from another posting of yours, showing the slope with the man-made terrasses. Also striking the snow-covered mountain range in the back.
It made me smile reading that you passed through a Sturm und Drang phase..
Touching that you remember in a so gentle way your father.
Thanks so much for this so special posting

A wonderful capture of this impressive Himalayan landscape Ram. The larger version is great to see and gives us a hint of the grandeur of this scene with the terraced and forested slopes of the valley dividing to reveal the snow capped mountainns in the BG in great lighting in the clean air.
Thanks for sharing this fine glimpse of your homeland.
All the best,

Your picture is as beautiful as impressive! The heart of a mountaineer beats higher at its view. The large version shows rich details and reveals the majestic beauty of this mountain chain at best. Your native place is beautiful!

What a spectacular view. The larger version still doesn't do justice to the spectacle of this landscape. I like the inclusion of the houses in the FG, they give great scale to the scenery. The winter feel is well visable. I love the clarity of the air giving you this clear view on the huge mountain range.
