[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hiking along the trails in St. Marks NWR we came across this fellow. I'm not as close as the image reflects. Using a 300mm lens lying on the ground I took this shot. I'm not happy with the edit but critique it anyway. this is the original crop.

Hi Andy. I really like the perspective you have chosen for this shot - ground level makes it more dramatic, and you can see features that would be lost in a different perspective, such as the ridges on the gator's back. I like the blurred background, and the gator is in pretty good focus as well.
