An unusual combination of naturla colours..Hard image to catch..It would take me two days just to get the white balance right,,,,if that is even possible...wow..it is like a chromatic scale as opposed the C scale! Superb and the perspective truly adds..

Hi Niek. This could be a picture from England. A good compostion of the wind blown sands. I like the few trees in the back ground. With the different colours. You got a gap in the clould just in time. well done TFS.

From this perspective this area looks like huge dunes :> I like panoramic view and very nice composition. You presented "normal" area in very atractive way :)

When it's so nice and hot outside this isn't exactly the picture i had in mind you'd post, but never the less, this is a breath of fresh air :) I quite like this interesting subject - blooming moss - and the area where it lives - shifting sands - and the way they are presented here.
The light, as you said, is very well filtered here and gives the best tones to both the green moss on one side and the sky and clouds on the other.
I also like your great, wide composition here, with those few trees there on the horizon, acting like excellent focal points.
A well written and interesting notes completes this lovely post.
Bravo and TFS

An interesting vertical composition. I like the way you placed the trees at left and echoing, you have the darker clouds at right. I also like your low point of view. Amazing to see this moss flowering in winter.
Fine and subtle colors and sharpness, like we are used from you.

A wonderful view of these mossy sand dunes! I like the low POV and the beautiful colours. Excellent depth and very well composed. I read your note with interest too!!

you managed to find colour even on the bleakest of winters days. A well chosen POV and great composition with the trees perfectly placed on the top left. Details and DOF are also both superb - great to see another landscape here on TN, and one done so well too.
Hope you find some time or inspiration to post more soon.

The DOF and exposure are very good too.
A very nice natural looking landscape.

Hello Niek !
It's been a while since I last visited your gallery, it's nice to see new shots from you - and once more, you are able to turn something very simple like this landscape in a piece of art. Most people wouldn't have stopped to take a picture, here, but you - you turned it into true beauty. It looks wonderful. I love the winter mood, the heavy sky. Very well done !

Nice shot. The moss in the foreground forms excellent leading lines towards the trees at the back. Also the wide angle lens is showing its charisma here! I wonder how it would look if the sky were more dynamic. Anyways, a wonderful shot indeed. Thanks for sharing.
