What a archived, Brazilian beauty. A showpiece at its best. Wow, this is beautiful. The colours of the plumage is spectacular and, and, and. I am suddenly lost with words. A pretty bird, which you have captured with style and pride, and yes, the words came to mind. I stylish and very elegant bird with an assortment of colours in the feathers to be proud of. And I am sure you are just as proud of this image as the bird you have captured. If this was mine, I would certainly been very proud and chuffed with myself. I like it a lot. Thanks for digging this one out of the archive.

Hello Peter,
Great to see this fine close-up of a Violaceous Euphonia taken from your archives. I have seen this species in Trinidad but that was when I was just a bird watcher and not a photographer. The technical quality, composition and colours are excellent and the POV makes this a fine portrait of this species.

This is a lovely photo from your archives!
The colors on this cute bird are absolutely stunning - vibrant and contrasting - making it an excellent candidate for such a photo.
You managed to capture it well, with good details and especially that blurry uniform BG behind.
I also really like it pose - tilted forward like that - which actually adds a little dynamism to this composition, in my opinion.
