A picture of one of my favourite animals - Zebras. I like those black & white stripes.

Zebras ...
The earliest known ancestor of the animals in this family was a small animal called Hyracotherium, or more commonly, Eohippus, which lived 60 million years ago during the Pleistocene Epoch. Animals known to be the direct ancestors of the modern horse, ass, and zebra appeared in Europe, Africa, and Asia about 4 million years ago during the Pliocene Epoch. Like other members of the horse family, zebras are primarily grazing animals. They feed on coarse grass, leaves, and shoots. (partly from the encyclopedia)

Hi Achim, I agree with you, they are beautiful beasts and less dangerous than some near there too. They are very alert looking todards you which make it fell like we are there next to you for this frozen moment in Africa. TFS. Murray.

Hi Achim.
I like this charming, true wild nature shot as well as touching eye-contact with these beautiful animals. Framing and composition of the scene, selected DOF and details of the scenery and zebras are great. Warm compliances and TFS.

Lieber Achim,
Dieses feine Bild aus Namibia hatte ich verpasst. So schön natürliches Bild in schönem Licht aufgenommen.
